Is everybody ready for the total solar eclipse? On April 8th in the afternoon, part of the Earth will be covered in a shadow by the Moon which will block sunlight for four minutes. Spencerport is getting ready for this once in a lifetime event. Dan Schneiderman, the Eclipse Partnership Coordinator at the Rochester Museum and Science Center, will be speaking at the Ogden town meeting room on February 26th from 6-7PM. Everything you need to know about the solar eclipse can be learned at this meeting. You can register for this event at www.ogdenlibrary.com. The town is also putting together a Solar Eclipse Map which will tell the residents about events and activities during the eclipse event. The Homesteads for Hope Farm is having a great event during the solar eclipse. There’s going to be music and food and activities from 1-6PM on April 8th.
