Nicole Bauers grew up on the north side of Spencerport. She graduated from Spencerport High School in 2003. She was a cheerleader and loved going to the pep rallies. Also, when she was a kid, she used to go to Kronys on Friday nights and she also liked going to the Entertainment Center for a movie and ice cream. Although she lives in Farmington now with her family, her parents still live in Spencerport. When she visits Spencerport these days, she likes going to Vics for ice cream.
Nicole’s store, the Bauers Boutique was in Spencerport for three years starting in December of 2018. Her first location was in a large space in the Masonic Temple building right in the heart of the village. Nicole describes her store as being like an Etsy that you can walk into. “We showcase the most talented and local artisans and crafters around and you can truly find a gift for anyone in our boutiques,” Nicole said. After two years, Bauers Boutique moved three stores down to a smaller space in the Masonic Temple building. Nicole continued to sell jewelry, bath and body products, home décor, and so much more with over fifteen vendors at the store.
As an artisan herself, Nicole specializes in direct to garment printing and screen printing. “Whether you need one shirt for a special day, family shirts for a vacation, or a large order for a family reunion, we can help,” Nicole said. Bauers Boutique moved again in November of 2021, this time to Gates on Spencerport Road just before the bowling alley. Along with this store, Nicole has a second location in Canandaigua which is closer to her house. This store opened one year ago and has over twenty-five vendors selling a great variety of products.
