Sitting in the coffeeshop across the street from J. William Jewelers, I sip on a Lemon Ginger tea while waiting to go to the customer appreciation day at the jewelry store. It’s a two day event and today I plan on going shopping and tomorrow I’ll get a hot dog at Barton’s food truck that is catering the event.
I arrive at the store around the time that it opens at 10AM. I noticed that a lot of customers were there. At the entrance way, there were donuts and coffee. I took a bag of little donuts and put them in my coat pocket and then walked around the store shopping. I said hello to someone I knew, a regular that goes to the coffee shop across the street.
Signs were all throughout the store for 15% off and 25% off and even 75% off jewelry and there were a lot of workers ready to help me buy something. I stopped at the 75% off selection and looked at a plain silver necklace. I asked the owner how much the necklace cost and it was under twenty dollars so I decided to buy it. He went to the back of the store and gift wrapped the necklace putting it in a box with a bow. This will make for a great stocking stuffer! He gave me two tickets too. One was for a raffle and the other was a free ticket for a hot dog tomorrow.
I maneuvered through the many customers that were throughout the store and went out the front door and went back to the coffee shop to get another tea.
